Starterkit PicoCOMA5 Windows

The starterkit offers you the possibility to connect an external periphery with PicoCOMA5 during the phase of development. PicoCOMA5 is a plug-in module and has all signals on a 80pol plug connector.
The kit contains a base board which leads out all PicoCOMA5 interfaces on common sockets or pin strips.

The PicoCOMA5 starterkit contains a PicoCOMA5-V2-WCE with Cortex-A5 & Cortex-M4 CPU, 256MB RAM, 256MB Flash, Audio, Ethernet, CAN and resisitive touch controller. Bootloader and a WCE 6.0 R3 kernel are pre-installed. For testing purposes one can also install a different operating system from the pre-installed one and develop software for PicoCOMA5. The available alternatives are WEC 7 and WEC 2013.

The starterkit consists of a base board with a plugged-on PicoCOMA5 and a cable kit. The base board offers connection possibilites for the following interfaces: Ethernet, USB Host, USB Device, 2x RS232, SD Card, I²C, SPI, Audio (Line In, Line Out) and I/ O-Ports. The power supply is 5V. The starterkit comes with a 7" WVGA TFT with resistive touch panel (ET070080) and fitting display adapter with film cable and touch cable. Documentation and software is available online in our download area.

Additionally we can offer you a 4-hour Workshop. Its goal is to learn how to handle the PicoCOMA5 starterkit and to finish the workshop with a running system. Under Windows you will have a closer look at Visual Studio .NET.
