NXP i.MX 6ULL ARM® Cortex®-A7 CPU (Low Power & Low Cost) on efus™A7UL by F&S Elektronik Systeme GmbH

From Low Cost (Euro 19,--/10k pcs) to High End (WLAN/ BT) with Linux and Windows

efus™A7UL is an addition to the successful efus™ COM product family by F&S Elektronik Systeme. This module is another low cost family member, lining up with the pin compatible efus™ COMs based oni.MX 6Solo/ DualLite/ Quad/ QuadPlus and i.MX 6SoloX.

The board uses a NXP i.MX 6ULL ARM® Cortex®-A7 CPU with up to 900MHz.
It offers up to 1GB DDR3L RAM, 512MB SLC NAND Flash and 32GB eMMC, as well as 2x Ethernet (10/100Mbit), 2x USB, 2x CAN and up to 4x I²C, 4x SPI, 6x UART, 2x SD-Card and I2S for Audio.

Displays can be connected via the digital RGB interface (18/ 24 Bit) or an optional LVDS interface (18 Bit). A resistive or PCAP touch panel can be connected via I²C.
A further option is an onboard WLAN/BT module (DualBand, BT4.1).

efus™ follows the "EasyLayout" standard, a concept of no crossing lines or avoidable through holes, enabling base boards with four layers only.
This optimizes baseboard costs and allows very good EMV values.

Power supply is 5V, the power consumption is 1W (typ.).
Versions with -20°C - +70°C and -40°C - + 85°C are also possible.

Another big plus is the choice between the operating systems Linux (Kernel 4.1.15, Buildroot or Yocto), Windows Embedded Compact 2013 and Windows Embedded Compact 7.

These operating systems were already ported by the experienced F&S Elektronik Systeme software team. Customized interface drivers, bootloader and all tools needed for development are available.
