Description

The booting time of Windows CE in connection with a F&S Board, is between 5 and 15 seconds. It depends on the used image and interfaces. During this time, the connected display is set off and therefore dark. To show the device's user a starting procedure while booting, F&S offers a boot screen. Advantages of the boot screen:

• Display of a bitmap after less than 100 ms after switching on the device
• The boot screen can be changed by the device manufacturer
• The boot screen cannot be changed by the end user
• only one-time costs
