Description

Secure Boot is the protection of the system against manipulation and the protection of the software against decryption. Both methods can be used for the bootloader, as well as for DeviceTree and kernel.

The SBS (Secure Boot as a Service) includes the signing (protection against manipulation) and if necessary encryption (protection of intellectual property) by F&S Elektronik Systeme. The customer hands the images over to F&S Elektronik Systeme. They will be returned to the customer signed and encrypted. The customer can now install the protected software on his F&S boards in his own production.

Optional and for an extra fee, F&S can install the protected images on customer-specific boards.

• all F&S boards with Linux and i.MX 6 processor

  Cost per module depends on the software to be installed.
