Yocto 3.10.17 Kernel for i.MX6

Traditionally, F&S supports a Linux build environment based on Buildroot, allowing small and reliable kernels and root file systems.
As we see more and more customers requesting Yocto, F&S has decided to provide Yocto as an additional build environment.

This month we released the Yocto 3.10.17 kernel for our Freescale i.MX6 based efus™A9 board. Kernel 3.10.17 will be released for our other boards within the next weeks.

It is based on OpeneEmbedded and uses recipes and bitbake to build the system.

The Yocto Project is an open source collaboration project that provides templates, tools and methods to help you create custom Linux-based systems for embedded products regardless of the hardware architecture.
