This homee Brain 2 gateway is your perfect partner for intelligent home automation. Besides the function as a gateway, actors and sensors of different manufacturers can be combined. It offers highlights such as Wifi, Bluetooth, IR Remote Control, temperature, air pressure and humidity sensors, microphone, as well as camera. Other home automation wireless standards like EnOcean, ZigBee or Z-Wave can be added by additional cubes. Thanks to its numerous wireless communication possibilites, the Gateway is perfectly suited for versatile IoT applications.

Innovative Applications ProcessorThe gateway is based on the NXP i.MX 6UltraLite applications processor of the very successful i.MX 6 series. It is based on an ARM Cortex-A7 MP core ans has 128kB L2 Cache. Our product portfolio includes another module, which is based on the same processor: Long-Term Availability to 2030Another characteristic of the i.MX 6UL is the long-time availability to at least 2030. |

The Linux BSP (v1.3) contains the customized Linux Kernel Source Code (v2.6.38) and our Cross-Toolchain. Additionally, our standard Binaries of the Linux Kernel Images, U-Boot and a JFFS2 Root Filesystem are available in the download area. Our multiplatform-linux-f+s-V2.0 Release holds a customized F&S Buildroot (2012.08), which integrates the PicoCOMA5 and makes it possible to create an own customized Root Filesystem. The standard configuration (picocom4_std_defconfig) installs i.a. the following features:
